Every day we’re either energizing our exhausting ourselves with our choices.
Our choices matter. A lot!
Often I feel like I am living on auto-pilot making choices in a stupor not realizing it’s impacting my energy.
Can you relate?
We are daily choosing what foods to fuel our bodies with, how we spend our time and money and how we deal with difficult situations or people.
We get to choose our choices and those choices will either make or break us.
You and I get to choose our battles and patience levels, our reactions to situations and people, the state of our surroundings, the friendships we cultivate and so much more.
We get to choose whether or not to exercise, gossip, forgive, help, heal, judge or criticize.
With every choice comes a consequence, positive or negative, depleting or energizing us.
We get to choose how we treat the cashier, waiter or stranger, our goals, dreams, opinions, beliefs, moods, and attitudes.
We get to choose what we believe about ourselves, others, our past, present and future.
So if we have choices and we get to choose then the truth simply is this:
If we don’t like where we are or even who we are we can simply change our choices.
Change your choices and you change your life.
It’s easy to believe we don’t have a choice and even easier to allow society, friends, family members even co-workers and bosses to choose for us which will always put our power, peace and happiness into the hands of others while costing us our energy and joy.
We started our walk this month down the path to energy by identifying the drainers stealing our energy.
Today we begin making choices that empower and energize us because WE GET TO CHOOSE OUR CHOICES.
Joshua wrote “Choose you this day whom you will serve. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.” Everyone gets to choose who (or what) they will serve. Josh 24:15
Because with each life-giving choice you make, you are recharging your energy levels and repositioning yourself for the life you want on your terms.
Choose wisely, prayerfully and intentionally with an end goal or result in mind, because today’s choices produce tomorrow’s results.
Make the choices that increase your energy, impact your future, upgrade your surroundings and your health, fuel your body and set you up to become the woman you want to be.

Word Wisdom
See, I have placed before you today life and happiness, and death and adversity, in that I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, so that you may live and become numerous, and that the Lord your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to take possession of it. But if your heart turns away and you will not obey, but allow yourself to be led astray and you worship other gods and serve them, I declare to you today that you will certainly perish. . . . I have placed before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live . . .” Deut 30:15 – 19
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5
